About the team:

Classifieds is shaping the future of local commerce by bringing people together through an enriched online experience that allows them to work closely with the community around them. We are comprised of more than 1,000 people who are passionate for local trade and maintaining the customer-centric nature of the Group, while exploring growth opportunities in both the countries where eBay Classifieds Group already has a presence and in prospective markets.

The B2B Marketing team at Kijiji is looking for an experienced product marketer who will own and drive the successful go-to-market strategy and execution for the Kijiji Autos business suite of products.

Position Summary:

In this role you are accountable to bring new products and partnership offerings to market. You will lead the GTM (go-to-market) strategy for Kijiji Autos and will work cross-functionally to build and launch plans for outreach and communications.

Reporting to the Head of B2B Marketing, you are the link between our product and business development teams and marketing and sales. You will understand and help drive the pipeline of product and feature introductions planned for our automotive business customers. Based on a deep understanding of our customer segments, you will develop the appropriate go-to-market approach for each product and then collaborate with cross-functionally to execute these strategies and plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Competitive analysis and synthesis

  • Understand customer needs and how to influence the adoption of products and features

  • Understand the problem and product solution and build the right messaging, positioning statements for customers

  • Optimize positioning, messaging of product portfolio based on market trends, competitive landscape and develop go-to-market strategies.

  • Build and execute product marketing plan and go-to-market strategies for new product and partnership launches

  • Develop a marketing plan to communicate the product value proposition and key customer benefits to enable Sales with their target customers

  • Close the feedback loop based on customer input and influence the prioritization of roadmap to address these gaps

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in equivalent or a combination of education and experience

  • Experience in B2B product marketing

  • Automotive industry knowledge is an advantage

  • Experience working independently and with multiple business partners while maintaining positive relationships

  • Ability to both plan and execute, and balance multiple priorities

  • Able to excel in a dynamic environment
