Head of Analytics

We are seeking a hardworking individual to join the Kijiji Finance team as our Head of Analytics!
This role will report into the Kijiji Finance Director, and interact heavily with both the management team, team leaders, and peers across all parts of the organization. This leader will direct a team of analysts that frame and enable strategic decision making through numerical analysis and frameworks. The successful candidate will work to set the stage for the analysts and their partners within the business by introducing the frameworks that can capture the complexity of Kijiji's business, ensure that both the Analytics team and the rest of the business is focusing in high-impact areas, and weaving clear and concise stories that tie together disparate analyses into strategy and outcomes. Lastly, you will be a part of a global analytics community, contributing to Adevinta's global expertise!
What you’ll do:
Act as a "key point of contact" for business leaders both locally and internationally on how to structure frameworks and analyses to handle complex business questions.
Work autonomously to develop skilled analysts, deploying their time and efforts in the most strategically effective manner.
Advocate for a common understanding of the online classifieds business / landscape to ensure disparate teams towards a unified set of goals and objectives.
Create a robust measurement framework to evaluate program success, supported by scalable processes and self-service visualization.
Proactively seek new and innovative ways to use advanced analytics to deliver insights.
Partner with the finance function to ensure critical KPI monitoring and reporting and to bridge the connection with analytics, site activity, and revenue.
- 7+ years of experience in Analytics or other quantitative fields
- Prior experience as a people manager
- Advanced SQL skills, proficiency with analytical & visualization tools (Excel, R, Python, Tableau, etc.), experience with modelling and analysis (machine learning, statistical analysis)
- Good communicator, with the ability to explain technical concepts and analyses implications clearly to a wide audience
- Capable of taking ownership for an initiative and working through ambiguous problems
- Open to new solutions / able to craft innovative processes
- Confirmed ability to quickly adapt, maintain focus, and hold a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, agile technology environment
