About the role:

The role sits within the eBay marketing team, reporting to the Channel & Merchandising Manager. In this role you will manage the planning & execution of our key marketing channels.

Here are some things you’ll find yourself doing day-to-day:

  • Delivering a more personalised experience for eBay customers across our website, App and marketing channels.
  • You'll use data & analytics to optimise customer experience & drive business performance.
  • Build integrated marketing channel plans to engage buyers and support eBay’s promotional, acquisition and retention driving campaigns.
  • Own planning calendars for email, homepage, push & SMS channels, liaising with internal stakeholders to form quarterly plans.
  • Build success metrics and generate standardised reporting for all channels to track and report performance, as well as next step recommendations.
  • Be a driving force for personalisation across all channels, working with global teams to bring this to life.
  • Develop opportunities to test & learn - bring innovative ideas to develop eBay’s marketing playbook.
  • Work with local & global teams to lead the dispatch and execution of campaigns, including but not limited to planning, set-up & final checks.
  • Execute a successful Christmas and Black Friday across eBay owned channels.
  • Build guardrails and prioritisation framework for eBay marketing channels.
  • Deliver an optimised and personalised experience for eBay customer segments across eBay owned channels.
  • Increase engagement with eBay personalised events and curated algorithms.
  • Having increased engagement with eBay customers and built efficient internal operations rhythms you will turn your attention to delivering personalisation at scale, working with global and local teams on personalisation initiatives.

The person we’re looking for:

  • Consulting, advertising or marketing background
  • Experience with marketing channel optimisation or personalisation preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Strong analytical skills & attention to detail
  • You’re agile and thrive under pressure
  • You put the customer at the heart of what you do
  • A multitasker who can drive multiple projects and project streams at one time
  • Ability to influence others and establish relationships across the organization
  • Drive to hit financial targets
