About the team:
We are passionate about connecting buyers and sellers around the world and creating opportunities through commerce and technology. Our responsibilities include all aspects of eBay’s business in the EMEA region including eBay’s operations in major European markets -- UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain -- as well as driving growth in emerging markets such as Turkey.
We are currently recruiting a Membership Program Manager (f/m/d), to join the German eBay membership Program team in Berlin. The team is part of the German business unit & strives to deliver the best membership program to engage customers with our platform.
In your role as Membership Program Manager (f/m/d) you will lead initiatives for the German market and interact globally with other membership programs to improve and scale the Plus membership platform. On a day-to-day basis, you will also heavily interact with global product & business teams around the globe.
We are looking for someone with membership background and is up for the challenge to shape the best second program in Germany with Plus.
Tasks and responsibilities
Lead initiatives aiming to continuously improve our eBay Plus program
KPIs you will drive are incremental GMB, program size and purchase days for members in the Plus program
- Contribute to Plus strategy, including goal setting, business case development, as well as moving strategy into execution
- Collaborate with all functions in eBay, and partners
- Continuously gain relevant insights & customer feedback to improve buyer acquisition and engagement for eBay
Job requirements and qualifications
A track record of professional success over at least +6 years, preferably in an membership environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills - ability to distill complex business issues to actionable insights & recommendations
- Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally in complex organizations, with peers and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, intense & results-oriented environment.
- Strong bias to ownership and take action.
- Fluent in German & English required.
- Great team working skills – listening, collaborating, and advising others, combined with a good sense of humor.
