We are seeking a professional individual to join our team as a Senior Business Development Manager (f/m/d).

You will be joining our team that takes care for Leasing, Financing and Buying Services. In this team we bring car financing and leasing offerings to our buyer and dealers online and make the car buying journey more convenient.

Your Tasks:

  • Be part of a winning team - we will craft mobile.de's future by building new products and services together!
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential partners (consumer credit and automotive financing, leasing and car subscription, digital retail…).
  • Continuously screen competition, technology trends and best practices within the market
  • Develop, refine and maintain strategies for services along the car financing & leasing process
  • Identify, acquire and grow relationships with external partners
  • Define, monitor and own the metrics to measure business success - you plan and pursue revenue targets
  • Work closely with our Strategic Partner Management for growing existing relationships with our partner banks.
  • Drive business judgment, market understanding, problem solving, and fact-based analysis to identify, prioritize, structure, and solve complex business problems.
  • Collaborate with and be part of cross-functional teams with colleagues from Product Management, Marketing, Operations & Sales, Research and Analytics to enable lean opportunity validations.
  • Be the business development counterpart to jointly evaluate, develop & gain new business opportunities.

Your profile:

  • 5+ years professional experience within a comparable setting, preferably with an e-commerce, consulting, classifieds or automotive profile. Master’s Degree or similar.
  • High intrinsic motivation for identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • You believe in agile ways of working. You strive for success and outcome. You take ownership and are a true team player. You have a clear bias for action.
  • Fast apprehension, strong ability to identify and focus on top priorities
  • Excellent logical and analytics skills
  • Experience with strategy and/or consulting projects and/or business aspects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both in German and English.
  • Ability to work highly independently and deal with complexity and ambiguity in a very dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the field of consumer credits, consumer automotive or classifieds/marketplaces is a plus.
