We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/d) for our Dealer Business. Together with our technical lead you will make sure that our architecture is aligned with our customer and business needs and is well understood by all partners – the internal dev team as well as outsourcing teams. Together with the team you will innovate technology, process and product with a bias for action and a strong focus on business growth.
In your day to day work we will work together with business to find pragmatic solutions for our customer needs.
You will write clean and maintainable code and will participate as well as lead design and code reviews.
With your team you collaboratively own the entire DevOps lifecycle from specification to running in production and keep an eye on our business numbers as well.
We believe in agile, team-defined processes. Together with our Product owner we built outstanding meaningful products. We would like you to be part of that journey with us.
Several years of professional experience as a Java developer (Java 8/11), Spring/ Spring Boot/ Linux
Experience with Apache Kafka (Elasticsearch would be a great plus)
You worked in cross-functional teams and know that responsibility does not end with deployment
Real passion for clean and beautiful code, with an eye for simplicity and pragmatism
An ambition to get up to speed with new systems and concepts quickly
Fluent in English. German language skills is a big plus.
You speak HTTP and REST like your mother tongue
Excellent knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases (especially MySQL and mongodb)
