We are in an exciting phase of growth and transition which is being built upon a great team culture. To help us in this journey we are looking for a People Business Partner (d/f/w) who will enable this phase of growth and help the team and organisation to scale.

A little more about the role

In this role you will play a key part in both the local management team, as well as the wider Global People team, as we enter into a crucial stage of our growth journey. You will report directly to the Adevinta European Markets People Director and partner closely with the CEO from eBay Kleinanzeigen, as well as the wider Leadership Team.  

The role is extremely varied you will be responsible for a wide range of topics including; 

  • Creating and ensuring the successful execution of the Local People Strategy and TA Strategy to deliver business results.

  • Enabling the team and wider organisation as we scale by working with the teams to understand and develop our org design and development strategy/principles, 

  • Overseeing our workforce/recruitment plans, employer branding and talent initiatives, including hiring & onboarding plans in collaboration with our TA Team

  • Developing and delivering our diversity strategy to ensure that we maintain a richly diverse team.

  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the teams. 

  • Collaborating and partnering with our teams to support the successful integration of people processes throughout the transition and beyond. 

  • Collaborating closely with members of other HR functions locally and globally to support the eBay Kleinanzeigen business and contribute to the wider Adevinta People Team,.

  • Providing coaching to the leadership team, people managers and employees through the transition and  growth phase we are in.Working with the wider global people team to align the Local and Global People Strategy/Initiatives and deliver an excellent Employee Experience.

You'll thrive in this role if you have a:

  • Inherent curiosity and an ability to act as a strategic partner in order to understand our business and deliver the People Strategy to help us scale and grow.

  • Comeliness with change and a desire to act as a change agent who drives all people and org related change efforts to scale the org and ensure a smooth integration.

  • Lots of experience working in an agile and high growth environment - as well as experience with scaling teams and organizations

  • Strong desire to collaborate across the whole organisation - we operate in agile cross functional teams and believe heavily in co-creation and iteration.

  • Coaching expertise - we are going through significant change and you will play a key role in supporting our leaders and wider teams on this journey. 

  • Deep functional knowledge in order to lead and/or provide advice and best practices within people programs, strategies and processes across rewards & compensation, staffing, performance management, employee engagement, talent management, org development and design

  • Passion for enabling diverse organisations - we embrace diversity within our teams and the wider organisation.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and an ability to advocate and  influence within all levels of the organisation.

  • 7-10 years Human Resources experience across different HR disciplines with some of that time operating in a multi-cultural/multi-national environment

Your success in this role will be measured based on:

  • eSat (employee satisfaction) scores on surveys

  • Stakeholder feedback on coaching effectiveness & peer feedback on collaboration and partnership

  • Active partnership with Center of Excellence EMEA (incl. Recruiting Teams, Diversity Team etc.)

  • Participation and effective roll-out of HR programs
