About the SMB team:

We are seeking a professional individual to join our SMB team as a Growth Manager focused on Marktplaats Pro. Our team focuses on enabling Small and Medium sized businesses (SMB's) to become successful on our platforms. SMB’s are true creators and passionate people who can enrich the lives of buyers with their unique and local products. Do you want to help them grow their business?

The role:
As a Growth Manager (B2B) you will be responsible for improving the complete user experience for our SMB customers. Ranging from acquisition to engagement and minimising churn. You get excited by helping SMB’s grow their business with the Pro solutions we offer, but you don’t need to do it on your own. Together with product, marketing, customer relations, sales and finance teams you will grow the user base and keep them happy. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Be end-responsible for growing the user base of Pro by driving initiatives via different stakeholders (marketing, sales, CR, finance, analysts and product) to increase new active user inflow and retention of existing customers

  • Monitor the user base developments and provide frequent updates to management

  • Collect new data insights to better understand user base development and initiate initiatives to improve user base development

  • Keep the business team informed in a structured way on status, expected launch and uptakes.

  • Collect and funnel back insights and feedback from the business (sales, outreach, CR) to the product teams and initiate ideas to act on this

  • Work closely together with marketing to align on campaigns and communications

  • In case of problems which affect the user base organise teams to arrange solutions (for example phishing, fraudsters, login problems)

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the fields of growth management, userbase management or project management

  • Affinity with e-commerce and/or SMB customers is preferred

  • “ Can do” mentality

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills

  • Ability to manage many (senior) stakeholders

  • Aware of the B2C advertising trends in our industry

  • Data Driven, a self-starter, problem solver and a great teammate

  • BS degree

  • Excellent English language skills and preferably dutch
