In the young, dynamic and international Advertiser Success team, we are looking for an Advertising B2B Marketeer BeNeLux to join the team. This person creates the content to get our clients and prospects to say “yes” to the digital advertising propositions of Marktplaats, 2dehands and 2ememain.
To enable this, you are given the opportunity to define the B2B marketing plan, and shape how we grow our commercial impact with the right content and collateral that resonates with our customers. Your content enables attracting, growing and nurturing the top 100 advertisers of the BeNeLux and will be used by over 10+ media and PLA sales professionals to open doors and generates new business, or grow our existing business with A-brands (e.g. ANWB, Allianz, Ahold, Coolblue, Coca-Cola, Colruyt, Deutsche Telekom, ING, Renault, KPN, Proximus, Mercedes, Nationale Postcode Loterij and Wehkamp) and within key verticals (e.g. Automotive, Electronics, Finance & Insurance, FMCG, Housing, Retail & Telecom).
You are a digital B2B marketeer who is a rockstar communicator with a proven track record in B2B marketing, and who understands digital advertising. Naturally, to be effective in your communication, you will need to understand our advertising customers and their needs, review our propositions and digital advertising portfolio, comprehend sales processes, formulate customer pain points and creatively and convincingly link those to the solutions we offer in the way that it ‘clicks’ for our customers. You have a clear opinion on what we need to get a customer to say ‘yes’, and generate enthusiasm for our offering.
You do this by being inquisitive and facilitating discussion to get to the core of our propositions, building sales collateral to match this, generating customer (user, agency or advertiser) insights, building client cases, and generating awareness through PR. You’ll be responsible for researching and increasing the value perception of the advertising propositions on our platforms for our advertisers. You get energy from building client cases, using your creativity to create exposure via content and PR in business outlets (e.g. Adformatie, Emerce, Digimedia, MediaMarketing) and organizing events or attendance together with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. agency roadshows, round tables). You will need effective stakeholder management and project management skills as you will be working together with a broad set of people ranging from account managers, sales managers, advertiser’s success team and will be coordinating and collaborating with design and copywriting professionals, research agencies or internal marketing / research departments.
As part of the Advertising BeNeLux team, the Advertiser Success team is a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Demand & AdOps, Ad Tech, Yield and Data specialists who closely collaborate to shape and deliver our advertising propositions on a daily basis for advertiser’s success. We’re teaming up with each other and with the Advertising Sales Teams on a daily basis. Together we’re responsible for the advertising on our platform, and strive to make our customers king!
Build Sales Collateral to support the sales process
Define and drive the B2B marketing plan
Build slide decks and one-pagers for client industries, insights and advertising propositions
Own our communication to be clear & convincing and coordinate designers and copywriters
Generate Customer Insights & coordinate research
Search and define research topics of interest to our advertising customers
Collect, analyse and get to the right insights
Guide internal/external research to leverage in the sales process
Build Client Cases
Identifying potential gaps in proof points to persuade key decision makers in the right verticals
Spotting case opportunities to bridge those gaps in demonstrating the value of our propositions
Build cases to demonstrate our superb advertising propositions, together with our Account Managers, Online Demand Specialists and advertisers, worth to be presented on stage and winning awards with
Share the content & PR
Own the communication and B2B marketing agenda for advertising;
Generate exposure via industry channels (on- & offline), e.g. press releases, interviews, knowledge sharing.
Organise events and roadshows (when possible again)
Manage the business website and social media channels
Minimum 3 years experience in Trade Marketing or similar jobs, preferably in the digital advertising industry;
Bachelor Degree in Communication or Marketing
Rockstar communicator with experience in effective on- and offline marketing communication strategies
Able to work independently and within a group to manage several projects with tight deadlines and to push projects to completion
Excellent organizational, stakeholder and project management skills
Flexible way of working - able to cope with a fast-changing environment
Full Dutch & English professional proficiency (written and verbal) is required
Passionate about (digital) advertising and marketing, and the latest developments in our (advertising and e-commerce) industry
